With the recent warm weather, it can be tempting to cool off in rivers and lakes around London. However, at this time of year, the water is still very cold and can pose serious risks. There may also be hidden dangers beneath the surface that aren’t immediately visible.

Sadly, emergency services respond to tragic incidents every year in inland waters, where lives are lost. Please help keep yourself and your children safe by avoiding open water unless there are lifeguards present.
